1. Application:

UIC students presently enrolled as full-time students who have fulfilled the requirements are eligible.

2. Student Requirements:

i. Year GPA 3.4 or above in academic year 2008-2009;

ii. Chinese I & II final grades not lower than A;

iii. Students should be active in Chinese language and cultural activities and have outstanding performance;

iv. Students and families who face financial problems.

3. How to apply

i. Complete the Application Form and Recommendation Form (Download Form );

ii. Submit the Form to the service counter of Student Affairs Office at E211.

4. Process of Selection

i. The Student Affairs Office will verify the documents submitted by applicants based on their academic performance and financial problems;

ii. A recommendation shall be made by the Chinese Language and Culture Center (CLC);

iii. A short list will be submitted to the Scholarship and Financial Aid Committee for endorsement;

iv. Mr. Fung Sun Kwan shall have the rights to select the candidates for final endorsement.

5. Awards

Awards will be given to 12 students, HKD10000/person.
