MPRO新闻公关处

MPRO is a window of UIC. Its primary mission includes campus news communication, college promotion, public communication, and media relations. It aims to inform the public by promoting the development and achievements of the College, establish and maintain a positive public image, and create a friendly social environment.

Our main responsibilities include: college news report, publication of the college newspaper, First Step in Four, production of promotional materials, media relations, multimedia production, promotion of college image, and public events planning and management.  leaflet02.jpg

 

News, Publications and Media Relations

News: We publish news promptly on our college homepage with articles, photos and video clips. We published 230 pieces of news in Chinese, and 106 in English during the last academic year.

Publications: We produce various publications, including the College Brochure, enrollment brochures, photo albums for graduates, First Step in Four, UIC 5th Anniversary Brochure,
Photo Album My Good Old Days at UIC, Milestones of Innovation in Education at UIC, recommendation brochures for graduate, etc.

Media Relations: We establish and maintain good relationships with local and regional media, which will enhance social recognition and influence of the college, and facilitate college admission, career development of our students, and general development of the college.
More than 300 news reports about UIC appeared in Xinhua News Agency, China Youth Daily, China Education TV, CNR, Wenhui Daily, Mingpao, South China Morning Post, Macau Commerical Post, Southern Metropolitan Daily , Sina.com, etc.

Public Relations and Event Management

MPRO is responsible for planning and managing internal and external public relations events. We have organized the UIC 5th Anniversary Slogan Competition, 24 Frames-CTV Final Year Project Screening, Open Forum on" What is the UIC identity?" ....etc. We also provide consultancy to other divisions with event planning, marketing planning, crisis management.

Multimedia Production & Creative Design

MPRO produces images in photos and videos, and designs promotional materials such as posters, backdrops, pamphlets for various activities. We also live broadcast improtant campus-wide events. Our productions included the following: UIC college video UIC Grows Up With You, promotional videos for admission, commencement, Whole Person Education, feature films and Conference on Contemporay China and Chinese Studies, China Fortune Social Venture Prize, and a documentary film featuring Whole Person Education's  Experiential Deveplopment Programme along the Silk Road.

新闻公关处(MPRO)是UIC的一扇窗口,
负责学校新闻报道、对外宣传、公关传播和媒体
关系的策划、实施和协调,旨在宣传学校的发展
与成就,展示和维护UIC形象,创造良好的社会
舆论环境。

新闻公关处的主要工作包括:学校新闻报道、
校报《四维首印》、学校整体宣传印刷品、媒体
关系的拓展与维护、多媒体影像制作、学校形象
推广(如新浪网教育盛典等评选)、公关活动
(如五周年校庆)策划与管理等。

 新闻报道、宣传出版物及媒体关系

新闻报道:学校中英文官方网站新闻的策划
和更新,第一时间以文字、图片、视频等形式
报道学校最新动态。上学年共发表中文报道
230篇,英文报道106篇。

宣传出版物:学院各种宣传出版物的制作,
包括学院画册、招生宣传册、毕业生纪念册、
活动宣传品等,如《四维首印》、《五周年
校庆画册》、《我在UIC的日子》、
《五载•跨越 创新教育历程》、
毕业生推荐画册等。

媒体关系:通过与外界媒体的联络以及媒体
关系的维护,提升UIC的知名度及影响力,
促进学校的招生、就业及发展。迄今各类媒体
关于UIC的报道已多达300多次,包括新华社、
《中国青年报》、中国教育电视台、中央人民
广播电台、香港《文汇报》、《明报》、
《南华早报》、《澳门商报》、《南方都市报》、
新浪网等多家报刊、电视台及网络媒体。

公关策划及活动管理

MPRO负责UIC内部及外部公关活动的策划、
执行及管理,为学校的发展创造良好的公共
环境,树立并维护学校的形象和品牌。我们策
划并组织了UIC五周年校庆口号征集活动,
二十四格影视系首届毕业作品展,"什么是UIC人"
研讨会等活动;协助其他部门举办学生节、
玉树地震筹款等学生活动;辅助相关部门进行
市场策划、危机处理等战略性计划与管理。

多媒体制作及创意设计

MPRO负责UIC各类宣传资料的创意设计,
各类影像(含学校宣传片、活动专题片、
企业形象片、纪录片等)的策划、拍摄和制作,
同时为学校重要活动提供实况直播。我们不仅
为学校举办的活动提供海报、背景板、节目单、
宣传单等设计,还制作了宣传片《UIC与你一
同成长》、招生宣传片、毕业典礼专题片、
全人教育形象片、全人教育丝绸之路纪录片、
国情国学研讨会专题片、中国富强社会创业奖励
计划专题片等。
