■ Our Goal
Our goal is to carry out the education concept of UIC in whole -person, education and to provide students and staff with medical treatment, their general health and welfare, health education, medical support and to make contribution to UIC development.■ Our Tasks
A. General medical work
We are on duty 24 /day hours including weekends and holidays .The service points cover the whole campus and all hostels. Service includes:- To give routine medical treatment and advice, consultation on hospital transfer and disease leave, etc.
- General consultation is necessary for staff from foreign countries, HK and Macao because they are unfamiliar with the language, hospital practice and conditions.
- Campus disease prevention and infectious disease report, which is essential for Zhuhai Government CDC hygiene monitoring.
- To organize students' admission physical exams and deal with the results and give related opinions to AR, SAO and ISO. Also to maintain their health files.
- To organize staff physical exams and give further advice or help. In some cases reports are made to HR and the President. A medical or health file is kept on all staff.
- To organize required vaccinations for students and staff.
B．Medical Support
- For student military training, sports game and summer activities.
- To issue health certificates for student going to study overseas.
- To explain oversea student health documents.
- To give general advice on mental health related to disease to students.
C. Health Education
On first aid, physiological and contagious disease about sex and nutrition, smoking and drug hazard, sleep improvement, epidemic disease knowledge, common disease treating skills, etc. We work closely with the Whole Person Education Office on health education.D. We deal with purchase of medicine and apparatus and their control .we keep records on sick leaver granted to students and staff. We keep daily records of inventory on medicine and matters on expenses and charges. Finally, we make monthly or semester report to our Finance Office and /or to Zhuhai government.■ Contact us

- 请将医生电话、学生事务处、120等常用电话输入手机中，以备急需。也可随时到各宿舍管理员处查阅相关联系电话。详见《医疗及健康教育中心值班时间及地点》；
You should keep the phone numbers of the doctors, SAO and medical emergency into your mobile phone. You can also find these numbers in your hostel. (Please refer to "Medical and Health Education Center Hours".) - 实行24小时值班。遇紧急情况，可联系当日值班医生，或直接拔打120，或直接前往医院，并保存病志及交费证明，之后到综合服务处F301联系保险索赔； We are on duty 24h daily. For emergency , please call the medical staff on duty， or call 120(emergency call), or go to hospital directly . Please keep the related medical documents for your reimbursement .
- 医生将根据病情出示诊断书,学生据此到教务处请病假;对于未经医生诊断,自行休假者,根据医生职业要求,我们将谢绝事后补假；
After treatment, if necessary, the doctor will give you a certificate of sick leave, and you must give it to registrar for your illness leave, which the Registrar requires. If you are absent from class before getting the certificate, your request will be denied. - 若夜间急诊,医生做出转院决定后,其他问题(如陪护),请学生与所属宿舍组老师联系)；
In emergency, if you get a doctor advice to transfer to another hospital, you should at once contact your teacher who is responsible for your hostel before taking action. - 新 生入学时已填写《学生健康状况及体育活动同意书》，在以后发生的相关活动中，我们将据此为参考，请如实填写;
We will refer to your "Health Declaration Form and Consent to Attend Physical Activities" in student activities. Therefore, you should fill out it in truth. - 要求医生到宿舍诊治时，须加收往诊费;
You must give extra payment, if you demand the doctor to go to your hostel for your health problem. - 学 生在教学区就诊，须持银行"银联卡"交费；在宿舍区就诊，须向医生交押金，并索要押金单，然后持"银联卡"到医疗中心刷卡，退回押金;
On campus, you must pay in "union pay card" issued by bank. In hostel area, you must pay in cash as deposit ,get receipt at the same time, then go to Medical Center pay in "union pay card" and get your deposit back. - 医疗收费将遵守珠海卫生局相关规定；
We will abide by the rules which are set up by Zhuhai Health Bureau for medical fee. - 心 理问题辅导和治疗（主要针对与疾病相关的心理问题)。
Deal with some mental problems related to health.For other mental problems, please consult the UIC psychological counselor.
