I. Programme Structure
There are three Divisions in the College. They are the Business and Management Division, the Humanities and Social Sciences Division and the Science and Technology Division; there are altogether 15 programmes offered in Year 2009-10. The programme structure for all Divisions consists of the following elements:

(1) Division of Business and Management
The Division of Business and Management offers 5 programmes: Accounting，Applied Economics, Cultural Industries Management，Finance and Human Resourse Management (会计学、应用经济学、文化产业管理、财务学、人力资源管理五个专业). The general programme structure is as follows:

(2) Division of Humanities and Social Sciences
The Division of Humanities and Social Sciences offers 6 programmes: Cinema and Television, Government and International Relations, International Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising, Social Work and Social Administration as well as Teaching English as a Second Language (影视学、政治与国际关系学、国际新闻学、公共关系与广告学， 社会工作与社会行政学、英语作为第二语言教学等六个专业). The Grade Point Average (GPA) （平均成绩积点）is an important indicator of the academic standing of every student. It is obtained by adding all the grade points gained and then dividing the sum by the total number of credits attempted.
The semester GPA（学期平均成绩积点）is calculated from all the grade points gained and the number of credits attempted in a given semester. The cumulative GPA (cGPA) （累计平均成绩积点） is calculated from the cumulative grade gained and the cumulative number of credits attempted.
(2) Honors Classifications荣誉分类
Students enrolled on Honors Degree courses will be awarded, upon completion of all requirements, the appropriate Bachelors degree. The various classifications are based on the cumulative Grade Point Average (cGPA). The general guidelines are as follows:

Senate reserves the right, upon the recommendation of the appropriate Dean of the Division, to make exceptions in the application of these indicative grade point averages.
(3) Academic Problems学业上的问题
- Academic Warning: Applicable to students with a GPA between 1.70 and 1.99 for a given semester. （警告：学生在某一学期的平均成绩积点为1.70 -1.99，学校将会给予其警告。）
- Academic Probation: Applicable to students with a GPA below 1.70 for a given semester. （留校察看：学生在某一学期的平均成绩积点低于1.70，学校将会给予其留校察看。）
- Academic Dismissal: As required by the Senate when a student's GPA is below 1.70 for two consecutive semesters; or on other academic grounds. （开除：学生连续两个学期的平均成绩积点低于1.70，或其它学术理由，经过教务会议的批准，学校将会开除其学籍。）
