一．《美丽中国》露天电影播放 (Wild China Series Screened Outdoor)
《美丽中国》由英国BBC自然历史制作小组和中央电视台影视制作主力--中视传媒--合作制作。六集的系列记录片使观众置身于中国的多彩风光中，包括汉代宫殿、蒙古草原和维吾尔的沙漠、丝绸之路、青藏高原，将中国先有人踏足的地方展现在大家面前，揭开中国迷人的面纱。影片还包括罕见的大熊猫和一种珍稀的中国特有的食鱼蝙蝠的珍贵生活记录.

Wild China produced by BBC and CCTV is a six-program-series documentation. Through unprecedented access, this six-part series reveals the little-known natural treasures and secret wildlife havens of China's astonishingly diverse landscape.

二．野性中国图片展 （Wild China Photo Exhibition）
"野性中国"由野生动物摄影师奚志农于2002年创办，是一家用影像的方式保护自然的专业机构。致力于拍摄中国野生动物和自然环境的图片和纪录片，并通过影像的传播，促进公众参与自然保护。

Wild China，founded in 2002 by XI Zhinong, is a professional organization that dedicates to promoting conservation through images. We specialize in documenting China's wildlife, nature and environment on both still and moving images, and we are committed to using the power of image to promote public participation in conservation.

三. 红树林保育使者行动 (UIC Mangrove Ambassador Campaign)

通过组织大学生志愿者调查搜集珠海市红树林保育状况，并培育红树林保育大学生使者，前往小学及社区进行教育和宣传行动，以提高珠海市民及中小学生对红树林的关注程度。

University volunteers will participate in investigation and collection information about Zhuhai mangrove conservation situation with an outcome of a group of UIC Mangrove Ambassadors being set up to disseminate knowledge on ecological function of mangrove wetland and idea of mangrove conservation in elementary schools.

在本次‘美丽中国'系列活动中，蒲公英根与芽小组将是红树林保育使者行动的核心成员。考察活动与EDC二月和三月的户外活动结合进行；我们在三月邀请中国红树林保育联盟负责人刘毅给同学们做关于红树林保育知识和可持续环境教育的培训；红树林保育使者的小学红树林保育知识环境教育活动暂定于四月，请关注该小组活动和海报 poster Wild China.pdf。

Dandelion-Roots & Shoots Group is the core members of the UIC Mangrove Ambassador Campaign activity. Field trips, also as EDC's outdoor activities of February and March, had been accomplished; LIU Yi, director of China Mangrove Conservation Network, was invited to give training on mangrove conservation and sustainable environmental education; environmental education of mangrove conservation will be given in elementary school in April, detail information can be seen in Student Interest Group and Poster Wild China.pdf.
