张建中教授

      张建中教授于1962 年由上海师范大学本科毕业，并于1984年在美国得克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校获得博士学位，其导师是“冯.诺依曼奖”获得者，国际著名的运筹学家A. Charnes。

      张建中教授在上海师范大学工作直至1988年， 其间曾任该校数学系教授及系主任。张建中教授1988年至1989年在美国加利福尼亚州立大学任客座教授，1989－1990年在美国首都乔治华盛顿大学的运筹学系担任“杰出客座教授”职位。张建中教授1990年前往其出生地香港，在香港城市大学任教，并担任该校数学系系主任6年(1996-2002)。张建中教授于2006-2007在香港中文大学系统科学及工程管理系任访问教授，并于2007年8月加入联合国际学院, 现为本校科技和理工学部教授。

      张教授的研究领域是运筹学与最优化，特别是线性和非线性优化，组合优化， 网络流及管道网络问题，互补性问题， 变分不等式问题，以及双水平优化问题。张教授迄今已发表学术论文150余篇，其中绝大部分刊于在欧美日出版的国际知名学术刊物。张教授与其合作者的近期研究成果于2006年荣获我国教育部颁发的自然科学二等奖。张教授曾任我国数学规划学会副主席(1998-2006), 现任中国 运筹学会常务理事，并担任两家国际学术刊物（Optimization Methods and Software, Pacific Journal of Optimization）及一些国内学术期刊的编委。
