About Speaker:

Prof. Yan, an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, has received numerous awards in natural sciences and mathematics, including Hua Luogeng Mathematical Prize in 2007, Ho Leung Ho Lee Prize for Science and Technology Progress in 2006, and First-Class China State Prize for Natural Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1992.

Prof. Yan is well known for his lively and easy-to-understand talks and lectures on sciences, mathematics and financial mathematics. All staff and students are welcomed.
