UIC has expanded its global partnership by signing an MoU with both Yonsei University Mirae Campus in Wonju, South Korea, and CESINE Design and Business School in Santander, Spain on 1 November.

The two institutions will collaborate with UIC on projects such as study abroad and student exchange programmes, visits and interchanging of staff for research and teaching, exchange of library resources and research publications, and further cooperation on research and study activities.

Yonsei University is known to be one of the top three SKY universities in South Korea and also ranks amongst some of the world’s most prestigious universities. It was the first Korean university to implement the Residential College System also seen in top global universities such as Harvard and Oxford.

Yonsei University’s Mirae Campus is one of the four campuses in the Yonsei University system and focuses on its global competitiveness and its aim to develop global leaders within an advanced educational environment.

One of the strengths of Yonsei University is its undergraduate education sector, where its students learn to lead not only through its strong academic curriculum but also by participation in their various extracurricular activities. Due to its diverse student body and its global outlook, the Mirae Campus is known as one of the most fast-growing universities in South Korea.

CESINE focuses mainly on their international perspective and experiences, with more than 45 nationalities present on campus each year. For the past 25 years, the university has continued to offer the most global and innovative learning experience possible, including lead programmes based on collective learning. CESINE is also committed to employability and entrepreneurship and has signed agreements with over 2500 companies.

CESINE has been rated as one of the 25 best business schools in Spain by Eduniversal Ranking, which therefore makes it one of the most renowned higher education institutions in Spain. On top of this, it has received 5 stars from QS Stars International Accreditation in areas such as ‘Teaching Staff’, ‘Employment’ and ‘Facilities’, and also it scored high results in ‘Internationalization’ of its graduates and ‘Inclusiveness’.
