Recently, iiMedia Research has released the "2020 China Unicorn & Prospective Unicorn Top 200 List", in which Beeplus Technology, a company founded by UIC alumni, was rated as a prospective unicorn business in the corporate service industry.

A prospective unicorn company refers to a company that rapidly develops and has the potential to grow into a unicorn company in a short period. The selection criteria include the establishment time of more than 1.5 years but less than 10 years, a valuation of more than 1 billion yuan but less than 7 billion yuan, a financing record in the past two years and the good development prospects of the industry.

Over 70% of the companies in the list this year are based in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, while Beeplus Technology is one of the few companies based in Zhuhai.

As a leader of the new office ecology, Beeplus Technology was founded in September 2015 by a team led by Jia Fan, a 2014 Accounting graduate at UIC. The members of the start-up team are also UIC alumni from different majors. Beeplus Technology enriches its business segments by exploring diverse business scenarios and consumer needs as well as perfects the construction of customised office space.
